Back in my day, 1GB seemed unrealistic. xD

I remember the Commodore PET booting up and saying it had ~16000 bytes of memory free (in other words, 16kb - which is about as much data that can be contained in four maxed out posts on this forum), and the idea of having a permanent "hard drive" to store data at all seemed kind of ridiculous. And we basically had to store data on audio cassettes or literally type programs we wanted to run in line-by-line every time we booted up the computer.
