What some us grew up with so it's characters we like. I admit marvel is handling the movies better but I'll always prefer DC just cause I like DC characters. Also in some movies I feel marvel adds in too much humor. It's like they have the opposite problem dc writers have. Iron Man was fine with it's humor it fits Tony stark. It was great in guardians of the Galaxy. Didn't like it in doctor strange save a scene or two. Yup. It's not a zero sum game either. There's no problem in liking both, which is something that's always bothered me about the schism in comic book fandom. Yeah never read marvel comics other than a handful. Never kept up with marvel cartoons as a kid but I enjoy their movies. They are entertaining.
