Topic	Why did Super Mario Odyssey fail to boost Mario?

Nobody saw Noctis/Cecil/Zidane/Tidus all lose round 1 while Nintendo beasted and thought "gee, I bet Cloud is still capable of getting 46% on Link". Zelda is definitely the one who has turned heads.
