But what if he does care? Is he supposed to pretend he doesn't, so he can conform? Should he dismiss his personal views to please the public? Do you think that's the answer? There are several valid reasons to prefer having heterosexual children. You can't dismiss the fact that a homosexual can't breed with his partner. Sure they can adopt, but those aren't his genes.
That doesn't mean you won't love your child, but this stuff isn't black and white for either party.

So.

I don't know if I really have to explain this, but your children don't live for you. It's not about what you want, their life is about them. They aren't a vessel for your desires, and they're going to be gay no matter what you "prefer".

So yeah, the answer is to not care if your kid is gay or not, because there are no valid reasons for "preferring" that they're straight
