So you have no problem with the statues, just the flags? Regardless, as far as I'm aware, people are allowed free speech in America and so are allowed to express dissenting views. Statues and the flags should be in Museums, not publicly displayed. The same Germany does Nazi memorabilia. They're seen as a symbol of a hateful past.
