Actually I think that already started with Spider-Man. Homecoming especially gave me the impression that Spider-Man is being groomed as Iron Man's replacement.
Then there are other characters like Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and Ant-Man who will carry on the torch. Plus, they are getting Fantastic Four and X-Men back too. The MCU isn't in any danger of running out of characters.
Well, that. And they are superheroes. So death means nothing. If they bring them back to life, they would just have to get somewhat similar looking actors... maybe... ---
