All occupations are not equal, and therefore do not pay the same. Just like how all states are not equal when it comes to cost of living. So many people on strike were first generation immigrants. Why did they choose to move to the most expensive state in the country? There are plenty of states where one job is enough. Hawaii is not one of them, unless, as previously mentioned, you have a good job. Menial, unskilled labor generally isnt really seen as a good job here. So please, will one of you guys tell me why having a single unskilled job should be enough for you to live in the most expensive state in the country? Or why people cant simply have roommates?
