I'm talking about Reset Era in particular:
https://www.resetera.com/threads/fortnite-streamer-drdeadmoth-physically-abuses-so-on-live-stream.86059/

People are siding with the wife without questions.

Just to be clear, I am not saying he is a victim or anything like that.

It seems like their relationship has been pretty shitty for some time and that doesn't allow him to hit her at all.

However, it seems like she was throwing stuff at him and doing other things that can't be seen in the video. Maybe she was even hitting him. We don't know for sure.

But I just hate how things are one sided on the internet. It's like this all over the internet.

If he hit her in defense then that was in defense. I can't tell from the video. But if he hit her just for the hell of it, then yeah, that's messed up. Domestic violence is never okay.

I just hate how people get one sided without knowing all the details. For example, if a woman starts hitting a guy non stop, and the guy defends himself, you'll see a lot of people side with that woman. I'm just using that as an example because I've seen people comment like that. And this example can be done the other way around as well.

Anyways, I see this type of comments on Reset Era a lot. It's one of the reasons why I left that place (the other reason is that if you don't agree with their agenda, you'll get suspended or banned). I mostly just go there because I find video game news there pretty fast.

Luckily I don't see much of that on gamefaqs. Then again, I only visit a couple of places here on gamefaqs.
