Super Smash Bros Ultimate is checking all the boxes for me, and its biggest selling point was its comprehensive list of characters, stages and music that were found in previous games. Plus, you can take it on the go. I guess the Subspace Story Mode from Brawl and Melees specific gameplay physics/mechanics and Adventure mode are what you can use to argue for the older games still deserving to be in your collection. For me though, This game has removed any reasoning to play or own the old games besides nostalgia. Is there a game in a franchise that you feel made all other entries obsolete?
