Fun fact about that: back then, many cultures used a lunar calendar rather than a solar one. If you divide those lifespans by 12, you get very normal human lifespans, suggesting it was probably a mistranslation. That's not how lunar calendars work. Yeah, the Muslim calendar is a very common example of a lunar calendar. And its just a few days shorter than the solar one (Gregorian).
