Topic | So what would you think of this product: Scooby Doo 50th Anniversary Collection? |
RySenkari 12/10/18 8:33:01 AM #1: | DISCLAIMER: This is a hypothetical product, not an actual thing that exists. - So let's say in honor of the upcoming 50th anniversary of the original Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? animated series being released, Warner Bros. decides to release a special 50th anniversary collection with various TV shows and movies from across the series. It's not a "complete" collection, but it has most of the major stuff. It would be packaged in a big box shaped like the Mystery Machine, and would contain the following: TV SERIES: (28 Blu-Rays) Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?: The Complete Animated Series: (81 episodes, including the original Scooby-Doo: Where Are You? series and The Scooby-Doo Show) The New Scooby-Doo Movies: (all 24 hour-long episodes) Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo: (75 episodes, including all three Scrappy-Doo shows spanning 1979-1984) The 13 Ghosts Of Scooby-Doo: (all 13 episodes) What's New, Scooby-Doo?: (all 42 episodes) Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated (all 52 episodes) FILMS: (9 Blu-Rays, with the live-action films on one disc each and the animated films going two to a disc) Scooby-Doo (2002 live action) Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004, live action) Scooby-Doo!: The Mystery Begins (2009, live action) Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (1998, animated) Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost (1999, animated) Scooby-Doo and the Legend Of The Vampire (2003, animated) Scooby-Doo and the Monster Of Mexico (2003, animated) Aloha, Scooby-Doo! (2005, animated) Scooby-Doo! in Where's My Mummy? (2005, animated) Scooby-Doo And The Samurai Sword (2009, animated) Scooby-Doo! Abracadabra-Doo (2010, animated) Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery (2014, animated) Scooby-Doo! Frankencreepy (2014, animated) Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold (2018, animated) Scooby-Doo! and the Curse of the 13th Ghost (2019, animated) BONUS: (3 Blu-Rays) Scooby-Doo: A Legend 50 Years In The Making (A disc with 6-8 hours' worth of "making of" featurettes, both archival and newly made, with cast/crew interviews and retrospectives.) Scooby-Doo: Scary Awesome Fans (A disc with 4-6 hours of fan-made material, convention footage, fan interviews, celebrity fan retrospectives, etc.) Scooby-Doo: The Ultimate Archive (This is where you'd find bonus shorts, trailers, commercials, possibly multimedia features, etc.) The whole thing would span 40 Blu-Rays and would have an MSRP of $249.99, though I imagine it would actually go for around $160-$200 on sites like Amazon, and would probably be even cheaper ($120-$140) on sites like Ebay, especially if Warner Bros. overproduced it. --- This signature won't change until Chrono Trigger gets a re-release on a modern Nintendo console. ...
