So why is Link so strong anyway? I mean yeah Zelda and Nintendo fans, but then you have Mario too, and he's not nearly as strong as Link. So where does it come from?

(There was a time OoT lost to ALTTP in a multi way poll, but it actually beat it 60/40 in a contest match and I am cherry picking so I didn't mention it. Also the time it lost to FFVII in the same year (I think) Cloud beat Link)
