Removing all ideas where I make the ultimate decision has brought me to three (probably lame) concepts: Second Chance: A random user active in GotM is given the opportunity to select a game that was nominated by another user but not selected in the drawing. They will probably be notified early in the month and are free to give me a queue or something throughout of their preferred choices as the nominations come in so we can hopefully have everything decided shortly after the drawing. User Special: Users give me a game whenever they want to. The earlier the better, and I suppose you can change it, but you can't nominate it as long as it's your special game. Maybe it's a game that you love and want to increase its exposure, see other people's reactions, or want to have an excuse to replay. Maybe it's a game that you want to play alongside others via co-op or in spirit with a game that should generate more discussion. Then 3-4 times through the year, I will have one of the designated games randomly selected, ending your participation in the special program. I know that it seems stupid as you would prefer to nominate it is selected, but with fewer than 10 users I would call active in GotM, you might have greater odds getting a particular game selected through this route as you are not allowed to have repeat noms for the "normal" drawing. Leap of Faith: I come up with a theme similar to what I have been doing the past two years, but instead of me making the final decision, I will come up with 3-5 options and present them to everyone here to vote on. The twist will be that the game titles won't be given but vague descriptions instead. I think that I did that once for the Valentine's Day selection in 2017. I might have had our Discord channel decide it. I'm aware that these are probably stupid compared to having holiday-themed and anniversary celebrations the past two years, but clearly I wasn't good at making decisions on my own, and I would like to have special months still go on.
