Anything interesting happening in the rest of the world?

I'm quite a bit ahead of where I've posted, but thinking back to Raka's reign...

The Abbasid dynasty was HUGE and they waged occasional jihads against the Catholics, but were unsuccessful since the Catholics were well united against them. On the other hand, the Pope's Crusades were focused on me, so they didn't have time to take over Jerusalem or Spain or any of the other Muslim-controlled locations they usually care about.

Europe was largely dominated by Carpathia and Austrasia who were surprisingly solid. I rarely saw revolts happening in those countries. Their rulers were usually good people, crowned by the pope, with good traits. My vassals chipped away at the smaller countries, including the provinces I lost in a Holy War for France. I don't remember when it was, but I remember France went to some little boy who was crowned as a Crusader King and it really grinded my gears, but then one of my vassals slew him in combat when he was in his 20s.

The eastern Steppes are a mess with hordes coming and going, but there was on in particular that was growing pretty big at that time (until a certain historical conqueror came and fucked his shit up).

I almost never look toward Persia or India, but I think Tibet was getting quite large and pushing into India under the wise guidance of a Genius queen (and then with the bonuses her religion gave her, she had over 30 Learning).
