The president was like a king or queen in a constitutional monarchy, in theory at the top, but actually largely powerless. Which is good. <_< I'm meant to be getting 2 history books for Christmas, one on the Nazi regime, one on German history in general, so the latter will probably contain interesting information on West Germany. Also, I still don't know much about earlier German times. --- It has been 0 days since something interesting happened.
