Also I don't think anyone was actually trying to claim it straight up wasn't an idol anime. I think there might have been people saying things like "it's a unique idol anime" or "it's not just an idol anime", but yeah. (I'm not really sure though and I'm not exactly itching to reread that discussion to confirm either way) --- Oh woops.
