It didn't really break any new ground as a cute girl anime (in fact, in a lot of ways this was just an idol anime except without the singing). Still, I found it competent and enjoyable. Kohane was a fun high-energy, cheerful character who played off the others well, and the other characters had their own quirks that made them good too. The cheerleading was always energetic and uplifting. There were also a lot of great comedy moments.
