I never pull on realm events unless the banner has a chain I'm missing plus 1-2 other relics I'd want. Being a Day 1 player helped as well to build up my mythril count. For fests my general rule is no more than 6 pulls across all five phases. If I can skip a phase even better (like this fest I feel I can skip 4th phase since I have good fire-element options including two chains).
