I ended up liking a lot, but it ended up getting snubbed in every awards category for me (would have had 2 entries in waifu). Not an amazing show but a real good time. The dream episode was very impressive I thought. Th ending was rad in general, though lroba ly way more so for longtime fans (as is with the absolutely ABSURD amount of references throughout the series to other mecha and Ultraseries). At the end of the day I really feel like this could have been stretched in a way to pull of a two cour. Trigger has Promare coming out, and being a film with the mainline Trigger team it will probably be an absolute fucking blast. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
