I'd been out of anime for almost 2 years because I, a bastion of taste at the time, got fed up with the topic talking about some dumb pink magical girl crap instead of the big blowout mainstream hit Kaiji. I ignored anime until JoJo started in fall 2012 because wow, finally, it's JoJo! It was only a matter of time before I got back in the game and CHRIST what a chunk of anime to watch back to back completely unspoiled with zero expectation. Steins;Gate, Bakemonogatari, Fate/Zero, Madoka (ironically), Psycho-Pass, and surely some other crap that wasn't as important.
