I know it's actually scripted IRL by whoever wrote the manga or the specific dialogue for the anime, but I do hope they keep doing more 'freeform' stuff like this where it's presented as the characters just bantering. Probably the best part of the show so far. The piano during the kissing scene was good. Sensei's ass also looked huge in those sweatpants. Best friend is a bit of a goofball but I think he adds an element to the show that makes it pretty unique. It would be a completely different show without him; more melodramatic for sure. ... and then they go and end the episode on some death note shit.
