The first job i had bagging groceries way back in the day was at a chain of stores that had a union.
If it is at the point where you had a to go to the union just to get hours then it is probably time to move on to a different job. Right now maybe its just your boss that hates you, but when you starting taking hours from the other cashiers they are going to hate you for it too. Maybe another job just isnt an option right now but I think you should definitely be looking. Having to go through the union to get hours every time other week just isnt a good way to work.
