He was a fine blacksmith and was killed in the Battle of Sword Valley. It is highly alluded that he was the Homs used to create the Faced Mechon Xord. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U also backs up this theory in Xord's collectible trophy. If you talk to her before Xord IIIRC she says without naming anything about her dad dying in last year's invasion, and then after beating Xord is when she drops his name and talks about his work.
