Really glad that I bought this game in the Steam Winter Sale. Battles remind me of Undertale with an array of mini-games but significantly better. It does have some issues though, namely an unhelpful map with nothing to indicate what your current task is (it basically forces you to not take too much time off from sessions), and no direct benefits from battling that will cost you healing items (experience and level gains came from finding crosses on the map).
