He has some other great stuff too (Im a big fan of Paprika and Paranoia Agent), but I think this is better in terms of emotional impact. Unfortunately its one of the first movies I watched after I got into anime, but so it goes. The trip of the MC through all the movies shes been in is really effective, with pretty much all of her characters being either people you can easily connect with or characters who do cool stuff. Its a pretty fun idea for a movie, with the characters all being real, and not as cynical as you might expect from a similar idea done by hollywood or whatever. The animation is excellent as well, and there are some cool tracks that get you into the moment. Not much more to say about it since again, I dont remember much of it, but oh well. --- All the stars in the sky are waiting for you. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
