Well, would you understand references to the fictitious 30th century more than the 20th century? Yeah, some of that stuff is dated now, but I guess they had to do stuff to keep it anchored. It's weird seeing media come along before smart phones that didn't anticipate technology show all of these "futuristic" solutions in multiple devices that even at times seem primitive to what we currently have.
