By the time ingot to a comfortable level with my characters, Id completely forgotten about what was going on in the story and just lost interest. I had a similar problem, but it was less mechanics, and more that I kept spending most of the early game waiting for the story to get interesting or for the main characters to become worthwhile or likeable, and it never happened. That combined with the MMO-lite mechanics just numbed me with boredom until I eventually stopped playing and moved on to .hack instead, and never went back to FF. --- "Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76 "POwned again." --- blight family ...
