I think the best part about this movie is how aware of who is going to see this movie. The fans of it back in the day would be adults now, and a lot of them have kids. So they included a lot of subtle adult jokes and a bunch of call backs to the really old school gen 1 stuff and the early days of the anime. I was really happy to watch it, and frankly that's all I really need from a children's movie. ~~The stuff about the intern girl's job being making clickbait top 10 lists was probably my favorite joke.
