It also happens to be Spike Lee's best and most underrated "joint." 25th Hour is peak Ed Norton doing peak Ed Norton things. Set in a single day before he is set to go to prison, it is a wonderful reflection on friendship and loyalty. Almost like a grimmer and grimier Stand by Me. It also has one of the more heartbreaking conclusions in recent memory.
