Id probably also pass the time like some inmates in solitary confinement, exercise. The only downside I see for me is readjusting to bright lights afterwards. Recall this story in a video game about a guy imprisoned in a pitch black dungeon for many years when someone finally released them because the government had been overthrown (prisoner had been one the rebels) he ran out of thr prison and wanted to see things again only to have his retnias burned out immediately by the sun --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!"
