I've been laughing hard at the posts from that sodium guy. He's so silly. It's common for prisoners to spend months or even years in solitary confinement. Yes, many hurt themselves. But these are most often people who were already fucked in the head, already had their freedom taken away, are now being forced into an even worse situation and generally have no real end in sight or any sort of reward to look forward to. Yet they manage it for much greater lengths of time. But this scenario is voluntary, short term and has an amazing reward at the end.
