He truly flourished in the pre-CGI days. That's not to say that he still doesn't make bank now, but I think it's pretty much consensus that his early films were far superior to the new ones. Beetlejuice to me represents everything that there was to love about 80s/90s Tim Burton. After some deliberation, I can now say that it's his best movie because it's also his most creative one. The fact that this was made and he was free to be as weird as he could be is amazing.
