Only a few understood that this is the dude who made a movie that featured this scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24rFLOhQq_4" data-time=" So needless to say, Blue Velvet shocked just about everyone. It's a weird, abstract, disturbing mystery that challenges conventional filmmaking from the very opening scene. As is Lynch's signature characteristic, it's also absolutely beautiful looking and sounding, which only adds to its uncanniness.
