If I didn't tell my spouse, even before we were married, they'd pick up on me getting depressed no matter how hard I tried to hide it and how well I fooled others. And then end up upset if I hadn't been open about it, because they'd assume it was either them or that I didn't talk to them about it. But every relationship is different?
