Did anyone else think the end credits sequence was the best part? Seeing the original Game Boy look, then anime renderings of all the characters w/the og music playing, that was worth the price of admission for me. Then of course it goes into some bad generic pop song for the rest of the credits >_<

The actual movie was hit or miss for me. Sure it was great to see actual good 3D renderings of some of the best pokmon, but it's seems like they were content with just showing them off and not actually doing much with them.

Pikachu's one-liners were kinda cringy at times, though I was a fan of Ryan Reynolds singing the original Pokmon anime theme while fighting through tears.

I wish the plot centered more on the pokmon than the human characters. The dramatic/emotional moments with Tim felt really forced. I also didn't really get the villain's motivation behind merging humans with pokmon. Like, I get why he did it to himself, but why force it upon everyone else? Just for some good ol' chaotic mischief? I agree the Ditto twist was good. Seeing Angels with Filthy Souls and having them play it off as a "real" detective movie was a bizarre but funny little easter egg for Home Alone fans.
