From Beatrice's point of view, there is nothing wrong with what she was doing. If she breaks something, it can be fixed; if she kills someone, they can be revived, and everyone is happy. Yay. She is not necessarily cruel by choice, just immature (how could a 1000 year old act like such a kid?). The same goes for Eva-Beatrice: the more childish they are, the more violent they are towards humans. I should probably be more considerate.

Yeah, not really, I can now understand why, but I don't have to like it. If I have to make a comparison, it's like a kid happily stamping on a colony of ants. It's funny to the kid, but not for the ants (yes, I know he can't revive the ants) Battler was right to teach her a lesson.
