Topic	I pronounce Ryu "Rye-you", is that weird?

I heard someone on YouTube pronounce francais as fran-cays with a hard C which would be correct if it were an English word but its not so we have to say it the way the french do. Why are Americans and/or English speakers the only ones that arent allowed to have an accent?
