The workshop is custom games with scripting, and it's a permanent addition to the game. In this tycoon mode we had to upgrade our kit with money we'd generate over time or through kills. All of the abilities are locked out at the start until you purchase them, and you could also purchase additional damage, life, life leach, healing over time, additional money per kill. It was really neat. We got it to a point where a Tracer was just melting tanks with a single volley of shots and could passively outheal any damage she took.
