On the other hand, the game dev has several games where it is impossible to complete and the narrator has you press enter or whatever to sidestep this guy's "impossible" level design which in itself is a little fishy, but there's one point in the last game where he says he played through the game to get to those messages left for him, but that would mean he somehow got around the impossible barriers. How would he do that without access to the games files? Why would the game dev give him the raw files? So, I think you're probably right. But yeah, the pretentiousness of it got on my nerves for sure. Stanley Parable doesn't take itself seriously at all, its a much different experience, but you definitely still need to have at least a small taste for walking sims.
