Finally decided to give Kraken a shot. Waited until I was able to inherit a lvl 15 attack boon into mimic queen, so then it had 2.

I was wary about subbing out OK, since I had used him for every single magicite (mainly with pUSB, Isgebind being the exception with mUSB), but I have Promptos gen 2 lightning chain, so I figured that was the better option. Needed to give Rosa hastega, since no one else in my team (Bartz, Lightning, Prompto, Shelke) could have it, meaning I couldnt have shellga (I run Rosa with wrath normally). Also gave her Marches RM to draw the counters to help build gauge.

Basically, had Shelke entrust instantly to Bartz, Lightning use RW wall, Prompto pop chain, and Rosa hastega. Afterwards, Shelke wraths then entrusts to Rosa whenever possible, Lightning uses quadstrike for 2 turns, since theyre instant (shes LDed), then flash disaster spam until USB (I could likely use her brave USB, but this seems fine), Bartz spams stormspell strike, and Prompto uses tempest snipe which sometimes imperils (LDed also). A few DCs had me beat him in just under 15 seconds. Did it again, not as great RNG, still got around 17 or so.

I know everyone is on 5* magicite and the like, but I was dreading this guy for a while because of counters and I wasnt too stoked with my lightning damage. But Prompto chain + Bartz awakening/6* spellblade spam, with chain building from Prompto and instant flash disasters got the job done fast. Bartz awakening is so powerful with those spellblades, as technically Bartz is (slightly) off element here.

Going to farm some of the water magicites, then Siren and Hades are finally unlocked. Im not too worried about Siren because of Seifer Gen 2 chain + Sephiroth AASB/USB2, thoigh Hades worries me a bit. Though that daily draw that gave me Ramzas chain should certainly help.
