The Trump Administration has DENIED permission for U.S Embassies overseas to fly the LGBT Flag alongside the U.S Flag during Gay pride month!!

The Shocking denial is a reversal of a policy from the Obama administration as embassies in Israel, Germany, Brazil and Latvia had sought permission to fly the rainbow flag which has appeared alongside shops and homes during gay pride events

The U.S ambassador, the senior most gay official in the administration has pushed efforts to discourage laws that criminalize homosexuality overseas as The White House did not return a comment to Dailymail for an explanation.

This comes despite a statement calling to "celebrate LGBT Pride Month and recognize the outstanding contributions LGBT people have made"

Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, the conservative House member Trump nominated to run the CIA was apparently behind the move as they only denied this at the main flagpole embassy but doesn't prohibit embassies from dispalying it at other places

As it turns out, Trump on Friday issued a proclamation for Flag Day, for the American flag only on June 14th

The Obama administration allowed embassies the option to fly it alongside the U.S Flag as a source told CNN the embassy in Berlin previously flew the flag with it during pride month but can no longer.
