| LeonhartFour 06/10/19 8:38:48 PM #188: | Apparently, that E3 leaker guy who's been getting everything right says Square is finally going to announce that FFVIII HD remaster port tonight. It will certainly make for a pretty amazing week or so of news for me if true. In sports news, Tony Parker announced his retirement today, which makes me sad because it really feels like the end of an era (even though I know he didn't even play for the Spurs this year). After Jordan retired, I latched onto the Spurs because I loved David Robinson, and then I grew to love Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker (among others, of course, but those are the big three). They've easily been the most successful team I've rooted for in the last 20 years (which is weird because most of the teams I root for were awesome in the '90s but most of them have been not great since then). And that championship they won against the Heat in 2014 after losing the year before is easily one of the most satisfying and cathartic experiences of my sports fandom.
