My vision for the character has always been that the character is torn between his heritage and his own ambitions. While the family has fallen from grace, the name drags him into the sewers while his goals are so pure of heart. And facing down the ridicule of an entire city thanks to his appearance is the extra weight that forces the scale to measure one side or the other. Instead, we get a goofy fucking nobody that never will reach the level of a good Bat-villain. --- "It is too easy being monsters.
