Trapped in a personality that can only be affected by a writer, Shadow isn't a means to telling a good story, he's a means to being an obstacle in good storytelling. When you invest too much time in making a character your spirit animal incarnate, it gains the disadvantage of never being able to grow organically or interact naturally with anything. --- "It is too easy being monsters.
