Miles Morales

Rating: 72/100
A great character weighed down by really boring storylines. Thank goodness we've sent him back to the Ultimate Universe. I think that, in the end, the hardest part of being Miles is being forced to constantly sit as the follow-up to the best version of Peter Parker ever. They should have worked side-by-side in the UMU for a few years at least. Hell, Peter should have transitioned into a different superhero role. Lord knows there were a ton of them left open after Ultimatum.

Sora (Kingdom Hearts)

Rating: 65/100
Nostalgia sometimes clouds my judgment, and despite Sora being a relatively awful character in terms of actual writing, I still have a soft spot for the guy. But damn, KH has the absolute worst schlock of dialogue in Square Enix's arsenal.

Louis (Left 4 Dead)

Rating: 60/100
He's fine. Left 4 Dead characters are pretty one-note and forgettable. Chock it up to no real characterization.

Eliza Doolittle (My Fair Lady)

Rating: 78/100
Eliza is the magician's handwave to disguise the real main character - Henry Higgins. Eliza is charming and wonderful and her transformation is definitely eye-opening, but the REAL transformation occurs within Higgins. And Eliza obscures the obvious and allows Higgins to change with subtlety and nuance. I love it.
