It's really honestly hard to explain because what happens is so ineffable, the one thing I can relate it too is if you eat junk food every day you don't think you feel sick from it, but then you stop and you all of the sudden realize all the ways your body/brain feels so much better. Like I can attribute it to something like FOMO or people's inherit urge to misrepresent themselves but I feel like it misses the mark.
