It is absurd that scum would not look at posts the same as town and come to conclusions on them subconsciously based on their goals of the game? "Okay".
Hey two guys are fighting. I am gonna see if a clue comes out to help figure out their alignment or comment on this because I think this might shine some light somewhere.
Vs
Hey two guys fighting. I know they are both town. I'll just let them go and ignore it because no point getting involved and maybe letting the focus off of them or drawing attention to something that actually does matter.
"Absurdist".
Mafia to Cam is..."Hey, do you think I am scum?".
I agree with your assertion that players of varying alignments may look and respond to certain situations with unique takes
Where I disagree with you is being able to make a read on something that literally doesn't exist
Again: Corrik hasn't commented on the invisible pink elephant, therefore he is X alignment
It's entirely absurdist
Nobody said on something that doesn't exist. You are literally making no sense. We are talking about events happening in the game that if you are reading it, you will have seen. And, you either felt it was not worth your comments or you aren't actually reading the game, yet trying to act as if you have
I hope you are Town because I don't want this have been a waste of time
I agree that:
varying alignments MAY respond to certain situations in unique ways
I DISAGREE that:
varying aligns WON'T respond to certain situations at all
-----------------
The only compromise I could make here is this:
If a player comments on a scenario and focuses on something in particular, it may demonstrate insight into that player's priorities. Those priorities may be alignment indicative.
This only works if the player in questions has commented on the scenario in question
Otherwise, again, you're making arguments about invisible dragons in tutus singing somewhere over the rainbow being alignment indicative
You are being disingenuous. So, there is no purpose to continue this discussion with you going forward.
"if I choose to ignore a huge part of the game it is because it is invisible dragons on Jupiter drinking wine in tutus".
Yep. That argument just happened.
You didn't comment about the the green gorillas I was thinking about
Only mafia wouldn't comment about the green gorillas I was thinking about
Therefore content you don't comment about is alignment indicative
I'm not being disingenuous, I'm pointing out the breaks in your logic
