Once you open it you pick an area on the ground to deploy it, then a portal appears. You can walk through the portal into a location from the HP universe and look around and there will be a few things to click to collect while you are visiting. Mine took me to Borgin and Burke's, and my wife's went to Hagrids Hut. . And we each did a couple of level one wizard challenges, but we couldn't figure out how to team up for the same challenge.
