I dont see why people are making a big deal of that. It doeasnt take me very long at all to forget people I never built a close relationship with, even if we worked together for months even. I'll be lucky to remember your face a year from then and your name? Forget about it.
This has happened countless times throughout my life, and it gets really awkward when these people try to socialize with me afterward......
