| kirbymuncher 06/24/19 6:07:19 PM #55: | in general I'm both very surprised and kinda sad at how many people are not accepting of LGBTQ. Unless you're making policies for a business or something (which I doubt many people on CE are, no offense meant), acceptance in your day to day life is pretty simple. Just... treat people with kindness, respect and sincerity, either listen to what they say or politely excuse yourself from conversations if you're not interested in them, and don't act like you know more about someone you just met (or never met!) than they do themselves. These should be basics of any interaction, really. LGBTQ or not. people not having these sorts of things down is baffling you don't need to go out to protests on their behalf and join in activism or anything, just don't be a jerk --- THIS IS WHAT I HATE A BOUT EVREY WEBSITE!!
